Google Analytics By Yoast Security Update

A Google Analytics by Yoast security update has been released. Yoast announced the update as soon as the problem was discovered and fixed. If you are using Google Analytics by Yoast on your WordPress site, please update ASAP to the latest version, 5.3.3.

Is My Site Affected?

If you use this plugin, your site is affected. While this is not an end-of-the-world security flaw, you do need to be sure you’re on the latest version so that the flaw is fixed. You can check your version of the plugin by going to the Plugins link in your admin dashboard, scrolling down to the Google Analytics by Yoast entry and checking the version number shown. Your site should be indicating that an update is available if your version is less than the latest.

If you are one of my Website Management Program clients, your site has already been updated.

As always, be careful out there!
